Family Members

Do not provide Monument Company with burial site numbers. Cemetery will provide appropriate information to the Monument company.

Flush Markers

Upright Markers

Flat/flush markers may be delivered between April 10th and December 10th. Upright markers may be delivered all year, as long as the foundation has been set between April and December.

Please note: Flat/flush markers are set by the cemetery within 3-4 weeks of delivery. Slant and upright markers must be set by the monument company.

Monument Companies

Monument companies must present a copy of an approved Foundation Form prior to beginning work.

Deliveries are accepted Monday-Friday 9am-2:30pm ONLY

Any monument company delivering a marker without checking in at the office – markers will not be… physically return to check in.

Government Markers

Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery permits flush bronze or granite government markers.

Comparing Different Burial Sites

Can be easily seen when there it snows (less than 18”) or fall leaves.

When your neighboring site is opened if a headstone is in the way, it will be removed and placed back after your neighbor has had their funeral service. Your burial site under the ground is not disturbed.

Markers sit flush to the ground.

Visitors might walk over the markers.

If snow or leaves are down, it could be difficult to locate site without help from the Office.

Grass grown over a flush marker is maintain by the family, flush marker sites cost less.
